Traumas
These stories are about trauma and, of course, about healing.
I wrote them for the Garmaran Conference 2024.
In a small town on the edge of the forests lived a cheerful boy named Lukas. Lukas was the middle child of three siblings, surrounded by the love of his parents and the warmth of his home. But beneath this idyll there was a silent burden that Lukas carried from a very young age.

In a small house on the outskirts of a picturesque town lived a little boy named Jonas. Jonas was a bright and curious child with a heart full of dreams. But his life was not as carefree as it should be. Jonas' parents were very demanding and had high expectations of him. No matter how hard he tried, he could never please his parents.

A girl called Lina lived in a small village called Flusswald. Lina was cheerful, creative and loved to play with other children. She had a special talent for painting and could touch people's hearts with her colourful pictures. But despite her bright smile and friendly nature, Lina often felt lonely.
At school, Lina was excluded and rejected by some of her classmates. She was different from the other children - she loved to dress up in colourful clothes and decorate her hair with colourful ribbons, while the other children preferred to wear inconspicuous clothes. Lina felt like a stranger in her own class and this made her very sad.

Once upon a time, in a small village called Sonnenblick, there lived a cheerful girl called Mia. Mia was curious and adventurous and loved to play outside in nature. She had many friends in the village and spent her days exploring the world around her.
But one day, as Mia was wandering through the forest, something terrible happened. She was surprised by a wild animal that jumped out of the bushes and attacked her. Although Mia was able to escape quickly, the experience left deep scars in her heart. She was traumatised and was suddenly afraid to go outside. The shadows of the forest seemed threatening to her and she dared not take a single step near the forest.
